Happy Summer

Hello All!

Can you believe that the 4th of July is upon us?  For teachers, this date marks the half way point of summer!  I promised the students that I would post pictures from my adventures in Mexico.  It was an amazing time.  I know my own kids learned so much.  We tried to squeeze everything we could in, in a week's time.  I hope you enjoy!

The weather in Mexico is conducive to growing rather large insects.

Mr. Evans and I celebrated 16 years of marriage.  We renewed our vows on the beach with the kids.

We attended a history of Mexico culture show.  This was a game of Mayan Fire Ball.  YES! That is real fire.

This was also at the culture show.  It is the Mexican Candle Dance.  Very beautiful, graceful and YES! That is real fire.
