From now until the end . . .

1.  Science Fair is this Friday!  Even though the fair doesn't start until 4, students can bring projects to school in the morning.  Please remember this is a grade.  If you have questions don't hesitate to call, email or drop by.

2.  Bring your old clothes to school on Friday too!  You can either drop them off in my class during the day or just look for the large pick up truck with donation signs parked in front of the Elementary Office during the Science Fair.  All donations will be taken to Savers as a fundraiser to support the Vision Charter High School Swim Team.  

3.  Math I-SAT is Monday and Tuesday May 4th and 5th.  Wahoo . .. it is our last test!  Remember rest well, eat well, do well!

4.  Reading Log due no later than Wednesday, May 6th.

5.  Firebird Raceway Field trip -  May 15th

6.  RAD  - May 18th Vision Charter Gym at 7pm

7.  RAD Rally Field trip - May 20th Liberty Charter 

8.  Field Day  - May 21st

9.  Awards - May 22nd 10:30 - 11:10

For the week of April 13th - 17th

Hello all!  It is that time of year again . . .. . test time.  Our first I-SATs will take place Monday and Tuesday of this week.  Please make sure you are helping your student do their personal best by:

1.  Go to bed early and sleep.  8+ hours is what 5th graders should be getting.

2.  Proper Breakfast, Snacks and Lunch should include minimal sugar, be high in protein  and filling.      Eggs and fruit are perfect "brain food".  Snacks should include fruit, nuts and whole grains.

3.  Encouragement.  (Seems silly right?) Sometimes just a simple reminder to do your personal best        makes all the difference in the world.

Science Fair
Don't forget it is coming up on May 1st.  All projects must be completed at home and brought to school that night.  If you need help with ideas or how to put a project together, I would be more than happy to help. Just call or email for an appointment.
