For the week of April 13th - 17th
Hello all! It is that time of year again . . .. . test time. Our first I-SATs will take place Monday and Tuesday of this week. Please make sure you are helping your student do their personal best by:
1. Go to bed early and sleep. 8+ hours is what 5th graders should be getting.
2. Proper Breakfast, Snacks and Lunch should include minimal sugar, be high in protein and filling. Eggs and fruit are perfect "brain food". Snacks should include fruit, nuts and whole grains.
3. Encouragement. (Seems silly right?) Sometimes just a simple reminder to do your personal best makes all the difference in the world.
Email Fiasco
The Cableone account that I used to email all of my parents changed format. With that change, I lost all my parent contact info and some of your emails haven't been coming through. If I haven't responded, that would be the problem. UGGGGG! Can you please email me back at kevans123@cableone.net with your info and I will add you back to the list. Thank you!
Science Fair
Don't forget it is coming up on May 1st. All projects must be completed at home and brought to school that night. If you need help with ideas or how to put a project together, I would be more than happy to help. Just call or email for an appointment.
Summer Tutoring
If you are interested in helping your student get ahead for next year or need more help with content from this year, I tutor independently over the summer. Just email me for more info.
