SBAC and ISAT testing
This year our school was chosen to pilot the SBAC (Smarter Balance Achievement Test). The entire state of Idaho will be moving to this test next year and dropping the ISAT (Idaho State Achievement Test). We are lucky to get a first peek at the SBAC on what to expect. 5th grade will take the Math and ELA (English Language Arts) SBAC and the Science ISAT this year. Our tentative test dates are 4/28-4/30. More information will come out later this month.
Science Fair Reminder
The Elementary Science Fair is Thursday, May 15th. Science Fair projects are done at home and brought to school to display on the night of the Science Fair.
Spring Auction
Each year the PFA sponsors a silent auction of themed baskets as a fundraiser for our school. Each class in elementary provides a basket for auction. Our basket theme this year is Family Date Night. Think board games, movie tickets, restaurant gift cards, Wahooz, Zoo Boise, anything that would be fun for a family to do and can fit in a basket. I will be collecting items from now until May 10th. Every donation goes to help our school 100%
