For the Week of May 9th - 13th

3 weeks left to go!   I cannot believe how fast the year has flown by.  Here is what to expect this week in 5th grade.

Monday, May 9th
The Science I-SAT will be given in the morning.  Please make sure your child is well rested and fed.  They may bring books from home and quiet electronic devices to play with while others finish testing.  Granola bars, string cheese and mints will be provided.

Tuesday, May 10th
The first part of the ELA I-SAT will be given in the morning.   Please make sure your child is well rested and fed.  They may bring books from home and quiet electronic devices to play with while others finish testing.  Granola bars, string cheese and mints will be provided.

Wednesday, May 11th
The second part of the ELA I-Sat will be given in the morning. Please make sure your child is well rested and fed.  They may bring books from home and quiet electronic devices to play with while others finish testing.  Granola bars, string cheese and mints will be provided.

* Just as a reminder, if you haven't hopped on to Parent Portal and looked at your student's grades, you may want too.  I need some parent encouragement given at home that school isn't over yet.  Please help me remind your student that every assignment counts.  :)  If you lost your account info, please contact Mrs. Bowers at 455-9220.

*I am still looking for volunteers for our School Carnival on Friday, May 19th.  I have 4 spots left from 6-7 and 7-8.  Please email me if you are interested in helping run our booth.

*  On the last day of school, I am hosting the last lunch party of the year.  It is my "Nacho Teacher Anymore" party.  If you can donate an item or your time, please click the link below to sign up.
