For the second week of school - September 2nd - 5th

I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful long weekend, because we are going to hit the ground running this week.  Here is what to expect:

1.  Reading calendars will be coming home in the Purple Home/School Folder. Students are expected to read 30 minutes a night or they can double up some nights and skip others.  They need to meet the required amount of minutes for their reading grade.  The calendar has specific instructions and a due date listed.  If you lose your calendar, there is a link to print a new one on the right side of this blog.

2.  There will be math homework this week, again, check the folder. It will probably be Wednesday.  Students must show their work in order to receive credit.

3.  Enrichment clubs will start this Friday, September 5th.  It is a first come, first serve sign up.  Some classes have fees that must be paid by the first day of class to help with materials.

4.  Book Orders are due this Friday.  If you can, please order online.  The link for Scholastic is on the right hand side of this blog.  I also take the paper orders.

5.  This weeks read aloud book is "Radio Fifth Grade" by Gordan Korman
