Grossology and the Scientific Method

I am a huge fan of Science and love to share that passion with my students.  Today's science lesson was all about the Scientific Method.  It is an easy process that starts with being curious and asking a question, doing research about your question and coming up with a hypothesis (educated guess) on how your experiment might work.  You write down the steps your going to follow, like a recipe, to make your experiment happen. Next you perform your experiment and take observations.  Last, you answer your hypothesis and tell what you learned in your conclusion.

Today's experiment was all about the cleaning properties of Coke.  I am sure this will spark some interesting dinner conversation.  :)
