Sock Drive Update
We are still collecting new socks for the Boise Rescue Mission. I will be delivering all socks on Friday, December 16th.
Zoo Project Update
We have been working hard the last 2 weeks to get our zoo drafts done. In the next 3 days, our final drafts will be completed and sent home, along with the grid to build the 3D portion of the project. I will post pictures of past projects and give more detailed instructions on Wednesday. Projects will be due Friday, December 16th at 8:05am. We will be hosting a "Zoo Walk Through" from 8:45am - 10:45. Families are welcome! Hope to see you all then.
Letters to our favorite authors or people who inspire us
Last month's writing project was learning to write a friendly letter. I challenged the students to write to their favorite author or someone who inspired them. We just received our first 2 replies! Ruby wrote to Lisa Schroeder (author of Frosting and Friendship) and Addison wrote to Stephen King. Both students received wonderful personalized responses from their authors!
Our happy recipients |
Lisa Schroeder sent signed book marks! |
Stephen King sent writing tips too! |
