Zoo "How to Build" - Project due Friday, December 16th at 8:05 am

At the end of this week your student will be sent home with the following:

                        a.  Their perfect rough draft of their zoo
                        b.  4 pieces of grid paper

*If your student chooses to build in Minecraft, the conversion for each square on the grid is equal to 3 blocks in Minecraft.  Minecraft uses meters and we are using feet so the conversion isn't perfect but it is close enough.

Step 1 - Find or purchase 1 large thick piece of cardboard.  I bought this one at Walmart.

Step 2 - Take the 4 pieces of grid paper, trim them to match up and glue to the board.

Step 3 - The grid paper is the same size as the students' desks.  You will need to trim the board to match the grid paper so the project will fit on the desk.

Step 4 - Use the "perfect rough draft" of the zoo and outline the cages on the large grid.

Step 5 - Pick the materials you want to use to build your zoo and build it.  Below are pictures from past zoos.  Use your imagination and use what have
